My husband and I have lived in and renovated many houses, and while it was fantastic to finally build one of our own in 2003, we did experience the highs, lows and challenges involved in designing building and choosing fixtures fittings and furnishings for our own home.  So I understand it can be daunting and nerve-wracking, but I believe it should be a fun, exciting process and I can guide you through the numerous decisions that are involved when embarking on a project.

I spent 5 years working with Dulux and their retailers before establishing my own consultancy in 2002.  My time with Dulux was a great introduction to the industry and gave me a depth of technical knowledge almost impossible to gain elsewhere.  Academically I undertook all the in-house colour training offered by Dulux while I was working for them, and also studied Interior Design & Decorating with The Open Polytechnic, completing the certificate in 2001.   I am now proud to be facilitating the distance learning course offered by SIT2LRN, Certificate of Interior Decor.

On-the-job experience is critical however, and the wealth of knowledge  I have absorbed over the years enables me to approach any building, renovation or re-decoration project with confidence.
