An iconic establishment gets an updated look.


Well known local meeting, wedding and special occasion venue, ILT's Elmwood Gardens had an exterior makeover in 2012.  The elegant Art Deco building was given a bold new colour scheme, with soft taupes, greys, and burnt orange enhancing the curves & lines and  showing off the glamorous detail. Gillian's colour scheme for this project was a finalist in the Dulux Australasian Colour Awards in 2012

Modern Family home in Central Otago


The brief was for a modern family home, with wide appeal, to act as a showhome for  several months until new owners move in. The home has a bright fresh aesthetic with modern yet practical decorating touches.

In 2013 The Cottage beauty salon transformed into deVine Hair & Beauty - with a brand new building and fresh modern look. The brief was for calming tranquil decor to imbue customers with a sense of the peace and relaxation to come.



A relaxed family holiday home in the alpine resort of Wanaka, where the colour scheme of greens, browns and neutral tones reflects the surrounding scenery. Use of timber, natural linen furnishings & country style accessories means the decor is timeless and elegant without being fussy. Textural contrasts add life while retaining subtlety.


 Soft desert hues and a subtle tribal influence in the décor make this family home a relaxing casual retreat.  Texture is king in these spaces, which flow gently from one to another, but no single element dominates, resulting in a warm harmonious ambience.
